SmartShelf® is the only storage system that can be configured as back-to-back or double face full depth shelf, or any combination of both from one tier to the next, and from one shelving section to the other. This exclusive flexibility allows the storage of objects in various shapes, forms, and dimensions.
This unique patented boltless shelving concept provides two alternatives which you can mix and match for endless storage possibilities:

DESIGN FEATURES
SHELF SUPPORTS (OPTIONAL)
These supports are available in 3/4″ (19.5 mm) or 1 1/4″ (31.75 mm) height, according to the application and required load, and adjustable on 1 1/2″ (38 mm) increments. They are made of 12-gauge (2.66 mm) steel. Safely supports the shelves and allow for the addition of reinforcements. Increases rigidity
SHELF REINFORCEMENTS (OPTIONAL)
Shelf reinforcements are inserted in the longitudinal supports. The number of supports depends on the width of the shelves and the weight of the items to be stored
FOUR ROLL-FORMED SHELF FOLDS
- The fourth fold reduces the risk of injury, protects documents or objects, and makes the shelves sturdier
- The 3/4″ (19.5 mm) shelves are made of 20″ (0.91 mm) or 18″ (1.21 mm) gauge steel
- The 1″ (25.4 mm) shelves are made of 18-gauge steel
INTEGRATED LEVELERS

Industrial Drawers SmartShelf
For industrial environments, parts to be stored vary between large, heavy, small and bulky. Montel’s industrial drawers are designed to offer a storage solution for these different needs in one unique and flexible accessory. Moreover, there is no need to buy a drawer-only unit because Montel’s industrial drawers are designed to be installed on SmartShelf shelving systems. This way it can be paired with useful accessories, creating endless storage layouts.

BENEFITS:
A. Industrial drawers are mounted on heavy-duty roller bearing slides for a smooth travel and a very durable product. Drawers have a capacity of 400 lbs (180 kg).
B. The aluminum handle is designed for an ergonomic and sturdy feel.
C. Label slots along the entire length of the handle come with a plastic cover to protect your labels.
D. Drawers can be ordered with or without the perforations used for partitions and dividers.
E. Pre-configured partition kits or individual partitions can be ordered to create custom configurations of compartments to create endless storage layouts that can easily be reconfigured as needs evolve.
APPLICATION:
Industrial drawers are designed for SmartShelf shelving, but can be customized for 4D Wide Span, Hi-Bay or any other 4- post shelving. They can be installed on static or mobile units and can be combined with a wide range of 4-post shelving accessories.
